Audrey.
I just cannot express how much fun my session was with this girl. She is a very talented dancer from Classical Ballet Academy in St. Paul. We had our session on a gorgeous day this summer near my studio in North Loop in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Audrey has a near perfect ballerina back and we took every opportunity to show that off. I loved finding new places to photograph her during her dance session!
Emily Charais is a professional boutique photographer serving the Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area of the Twin Cities in Minnesota. She specializes in ballet, with a vast amount of knowledge about technique and the physiology of the body. She uses that knowledge to push her clients to go further that they thought they could go. The result is cleaner technical photos and photos that the dancer didn’t know they could produce. Emily knows how to correct dancers to get these results in a friendly, fun way. As a former dancers, Emily also knows how to get the shot in very few tries. She can feel when to click the shutter, which allows for a wider variety of photos in the session.
Emily’s style is artistic and beautiful. Although technically clean photos are the goal, artistry is the driving force behind her dance sessions. Emily doesn’t just want to highlight the athleticism of dancers, she wants to provide you with art!
