This family took advantage of my “As You Are” family session on one of the most beautiful days yet this summer. This is a new session type, but has been in my heart forever. I’ve always felt like there are people out there like me that are just not the traditional family portrait types, but I just didn’t take the leap…until now. This family is so full of love, and honesty with each other. Their interactions were so genuine and heartfelt. Our session was so relaxed and organic, just how I had envisioned these sessions going. The entire evening went from farm chores, to play, to a hike in the deep woods, to the most beautifully lit end to the evening on their gorgeous cottage home porch. As You Are sessions are longer than a traditional session, which gave us so much time to just settle into each other, and let their family just be who they are, authentically. They truly have built something amazing with their family and farm.
